I had some cans of wild caught lump crab and needed to put them to use!
A crab imperial is just this delectable casserole that takes five minutes to whip up.
You could use any type of crab you want, just make sure it’s wild caught!
Recipe:
Ingredients:
* 2 cans of wild caught lump crab (16 oz approximately)
* 1/2 cup avocado mayonnaise
* 1 tsp granular swerve (optional)
* 1 tsp old bay
* 1 tsp chopped parsley
* 1 pastured egg
* A few squeezes of lemon
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl minus the crab meat. Fold in crab meat. Make sure not to squish up the crab too much because you want it to be chunks. Put in a bread pan, small casserole dish or ramekins. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 or until the top is golden brown. Serves four (3 if you’re my fiancĂ© and I lol). Allow to cool and enjoy!
